Operations on hold while we arrange the new shop space.  The new shop space is almost ready but the lack of free time has delayed final setup for months.

After closing down for 3 years as of 2008, the Armoury now operates on a very Part Time basis as a “not for profit” project to finish old back orders and work on a few projects.

West Coast Armoury supplied high performance armour to medieval martial artists from 2004 to 2008, specializing in High performance armour for Medieval Martial Artists.  Establishing itself for years as the prime source for Performance Armour, the armoury had to shut it’s doors in 2008 after the Econimic Recession hit the armoury hard.

From the early 1990′s Master Armourer Brand Lancaster has been creating artwork and practical pieces for Martial Artists, Collectors, Film and Theater around the world.  Brand’s in depth practice and appreciation of the Medieval martial Arts gave him a unique perspective on the design, fabrication and actual use of Medieval Armour and Weaponry.

For over 20 years Brand practiced, competed and trained others in the use of medieval weaponry.  Specializing in Armoured Combat, he has a strong belief in techniques need to be “real” and proven under actual fighting conditions for them to be valid.

Currently Brand is focused on opening new possibilities and is currently working in the Video Game industry in San Diego, California.
